The Down South Promise We are committed to providing healthy, pest-free aquatic life. All livestock purchases are covered by our 7-Day Stay Alive Guarantee. If your animal does not survive the first week, we will issue a store credit for the cost of the livestock.

Conditions of Guarantee To ensure your claim is valid, the following rules must be followed:

First Attempt Delivery: Someone must be available to accept the package on the first delivery attempt.
No Address Changes: Redirecting a package or changing the delivery address while in transit voids the guarantee.
Hub Pickup: If held at a UPS/FedEx facility, the package must be picked up within 1 hour of the facility opening.
Intact Plugs: Do not remove coral frags from their original plugs. If a frag falls off during shipping, take a photo inside the sealed bag immediately.

How to File a Claim In the unfortunate event of a loss, please follow these steps:

Contact Us: Use the chat button or email us within 7 days of delivery.
Photos: Provide clear photographs of the deceased item. Do not use heavy blue lighting (white lights prefered for ID).
Do Not Discard: Do not throw away the specimen until your refund is approved, as we may request additional photos.

Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable. We reserve the right to void the guarantee if your tank parameters are deemed unsuitable for the animals.

Acclimation Guide (Strict Protocol) Please follow these instructions exactly. Deviating from this method (specifically Drip Acclimation) will void your guarantee.

Float: Place the sealed bags in your aquarium for exactly 30 minutes to temperature match.
Dip: Remove the coral and place it in a container. Use your preferred coral dip according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Rinse: Rinse the livestock in fresh tank water to remove dip residue.
Place: Carefully place the livestock into your aquarium.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: DO NOT DRIP ACCLIMATE Do not open the bag and drip water in. Opening the bag releases CO2 and can cause a rapid, toxic ammonia spike. Our water parameters match standard reef keeping levels (1.025-1.026 SG). Temperature matching is sufficient.
